College Ministry
The collegial ministry of Armstrong Chapel also falls under the umbrella of Vertical Impact…and we do our best to keep in touch with and minister to the students who have passed through our church halls. Keeping track of college students, however, is no easy task as they are constantly moving. Currently, we have implemented an Adopt-a-College Student program. This ministry ensures that each of our college aged-youth receive mail, cards, care packages, email, and occasional special events offered while they are back home with us for break. We’re proud to say that this school year 114 students were adopted out to very caring families! Please keep all of our collegians in your prayers, as church statistics teach us that 85% of all people who lose their faith in the Lord do so between the ages of 18 and 22. In other words, if students can hang tough during those spiritually trying years of college, chances are they will persevere in their faith the rest of their lives!
