Youth ministry is impossible without quality adults giving selflessly of their time & resources. We are so blessed at VI to have the competent services of these leaders. What a talented & dedicated team these guys are! At VI we’re all about doing things with excellence, which we define as doing the best we can with what God has given us. VI is blessed to have at the helm of its youth ministry five very competent, committed, and Christ-like students who have devoted themselves to taking charge of this ministry. Each of these is responsible for a unique ministry area that matches their gifts & graces, and each is held to a very high level of accountability by our pastor & staff. In truth, VI would not be nearly the ministry it is without the role of these selfless students. A great deal of focus is placed on these leaders, as we believe youth ministry cannot simply be with “adults doing, and students watching.” For this reason we place a high priority on developing them into influencers who will in turn produce other leaders. Vertical Impact is also blessed to have a team of parents who serve our youth ministry in the capacity of logistical, resource, and advisory support. This ministry team is a tremendous asset, as they do countless behind-the-scenes work that, to the untrained eye, often goes unnoticed. VI applauds Sue Maggard (chair) and the tremendous efforts her team gives to ensure we have everything we need, plus all the prayers & emotional support we could ask for! It’s amazing to have a team like this so our youth pastor & staff don’t have to wear as many hats and can rightly focus their attention on the students! |
