Breakfast Club by the Numbers

The Breakfast Club has met approximately 24 times since its inception last September. V.I. students meet at the Kenwood IHOP at 6:15am on Tuesdays and share fellowship and a devotional over breakfast. Since we've become regulars, the IHOP staff sets up our long table before we arrive, and our servers often know our "usual" orders.
Some students, like Angie Bell, order the same thing every week (a buttermilk "funny face" pancake, which comes complete with cherry eyes and a whipped cream smile, with chocolate chips on top). Sam Franer has also settled on a favorite: the stuffed French toast with strawberries (the side, not the combo). The attendance at Breakfast Club varies from week to week: sometimes as many as 25 and once as few as 5. Usually there are 10-15 students and 2 adult leaders.

To give you a better idea of Breakfast Club, here's our "count" since it started at the beginning of the school year:
202 "Funny Face" pancakes (see Mariemont Junior High girls)
144 hot chocolates
132 Buttermilk pancakes (a short-stack has 3)
96 cups of coffee (most of them drunk by Hannah Mauk alone)
2 orders of "the Continents" (the four enormous chocolate pancakes with chocolate chips that Audrey Black ordered on the first Breakfast Club, not realizing their gigantic proportions. The leftovers fed her entire lunch table that day. Laura Sloneker is the only one to attempt it again.)
1 hamburger (Aimee Fischer's only appearance at Breakfast Club)
